Welcome
Its been a working progress to get this blog into order. Its always been there at the back of my mind, how and when i was going to launch it. Ive been living in sydney most of my life and since becoming an adult I have been blown away at the cost of living in such an iconic city.
I giggle to myself often about this, as I am in a suburb of Sydney. An hour train ride to get you right in the heart of the city that almost everyone knows off. But the cost of living in syndey is reported quite often and I too wanted to document the struggles and triumphs of saving and living here.
Australia the land of oppurtunity, my grandparents came to Australia, to give a better life for their family of 7 kids + 2 adults, they didnt speak any English, but learned quickly.
My nan taught me to use everything from the fridge/cupboards first before you ever rush to the store, there is a million uses for containers, waste etc. This first lesson in life has not at all escaped me in todays sosciety. I didnt want to be part of the throw away generation like the ones that followed my generation.
The purpose of this blog is to Teach, Nuture and learn from submissions to in turn, Survive Sydney.
